Before We Were Golden Halo – High Times Listing (1996)
Mika Drake – First Golden Teacher Release (1996)
This small classified ad from the July 1996 High Times represents our very first listing under the name Mika Drake. It marks the true beginning of what would later grow into Golden Halo. The ad also announces the first-ever release of the Golden Teacher strain, named after Dr. William Hutchinson, a beloved horticulture instructor at Holyoke Community College in Amherst, Massachusetts.
